Finished our birthing class DVD last night

The local hospital here is soo very crappy and they only have one childbirth class per month. They only take 6 couples like all the people that are preggers around here wont be trying to sign up. So obviously they were full two months before my due date when I called and I thought I would be calling with lots of time. Soo any way I looked at other classes offered but the closest was 45 min away and a weekend thing only so DH and I decided to get the live and laugh childbirthing DVD to do at home. I really recommend this class if you want something to do on your own time it is a total of six hours of class so we did it in one hour segments and I learned a lot. Dh really liked that they talked about what is routine at the hospital with a vaginal birth and what is normal if there starts to be any signs of trouble. So I am 35 wks already and finishing our class just makes me feel like all this is going by way too fast. We still have stuff to do like pack my hospital bag and put the car seats in but I feel like over all we are ready to meet our lil girl. Its just that right now I can still enjoy all the alone time DH and I have but I am happy that as of now there is nothing about this pregnancy that is dragging.

How far along? 35wks
total weight gain? unkown didnt tell me last appt but 30lbs I think
maternity clothes? Hell yeah but refuse to buy any more
Sleep: Pretty good still harder to get out of bed though
Movement: Is the same not lots but still consistant all day
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs? None have not had any BH either
Belly button in or out? in don't think it will come out
What I miss? Sleeping on my back I feel like if only I could my back wouldnt feel as tight as it does all the time.
What I am looking forward to? Getting some pie for dessert tonight hopefully pumkin sounds amazing.
Milestone: Baby was head down since last wk yay!

Friday! I need sleep...

I am soooo sleepy I am 34 wks preggers today and I have the flu it makes such a horrible combination. Yesterday I had an appt with the Doc and my lil girl is measuring two wks ahead of schedule as in 36wks. So he ordered an ultrasound for today which is great cuz I haven't seen my baby since we found out the sex at 23 wks. The bad is if she is too big we will be talking about a possible c-section which totally bums me out since having a natural birth is supper important to me but we will just have to wait and see what the options are. Happy Hump Day!

So got away from my blog forever but I'm back now and better than ever may I add. So I am still at work but I have been working on my to do list for the month. Tomorrow hubby and I are heading to BRU for our stroller its one of the last big ticket items we need. But before all the baby fun I get to go to The Spa for a wax. My eyebrows are making me look like a crazy person and I am way too tired to do it myself. Plus I love the spa smell and relaxing music. My BIL and his wife and two girls are coming this weekend and I have to look good. We don't see them often so I don't want to look like the really lazy preggo girl. SIL was so glowing and graceful for her two pregnancies. Anyway all this is because other SIL is graduating on Sat after going to college for about 10yrs so it is a very big deal. But I am so not looking forward to standing outside in the heat for three hrs. ugggh! Lets just hope the week goes by fast because starting Monday I am on Vaca for a week... hell yes! Now back to the crazies at work later ya'll.
